Colette is a Chicago-born (LA based) DJ, vocalist, and songwriter whose career emerged from the city’s legendary house music scene. Known for her soulful voice, infectious energy, and genre-spanning DJ sets, she became a defining presence in the late-1990s and early 2000s house music movement. Her work blends classic Chicago house with West Coast deep house, disco and modern electronic influences, earning her an international following and a reputation as both a dynamic performer and respected recording artist. OM Records is celebrating 30 years as one of the most iconic underground dance music labels in the world. Founded in 1995 in San Francisco, OM helped define the West Coast house sound while staying rooted in underground club culture. Known for its deep house, soulful grooves, and forward-thinking electronic releases, the label has consistently championed artist creativity over trends, launching and sustaining careers that shaped worldwide dance floors. OM became Colette’s creative home in 2005, releasing her most recognized work and introducing her sound to a global audience. Highlights include "Feelin’ Hypnotized", "What Will She Do for Love”, and "When I’m With You” a collaboration with Kaskade. OM Records is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026 with a special compilation titled OM RECORDS – 30 YEARS. The project highlights key sounds and artists from the label’s extensive history and legacy in house, downtempo, and electronic music. As part of this celebration, OM Records is rolling out a series of anniversary singles in January 2026: •“Stay On My Mind” — Mark Farina, Homero Espinosa & Dani Siciliano (January 9) •“Do It Right” — Groove Armada (January 16) •“The Sunshine” — Colette, Richard Earnshaw & Kenny Summit (January 30) — closing out the launch month ahead of the full anniversary release in May. Over three decades, OM Records has built a legacy of quality, authenticity, and longevity—bridging the underground and the international scene without losing its independent spirit.
