As a special treat for fans we're celebrating the holiday season with a free mixed album giveaway from Lurob! His creations and live performances range from underground Hip-Hop to Samba and Funk, while his original works and DJ sets take listeners on journeys through House and Techno. Balancing a steady DJ schedule with relentless hours spent in the studio for new projects, this genre-breaking artist's notable venture "Down the Road" was featured as the opening track for Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz 7. Lurob's new album "Sounds To Lift Fog" has been a labor of love for some time and he's excited to share it with the masses.

This opening track is a "fog city" inspired groove that pays tribute to a sound reminiscent of the early 90's industrial parties throughout the bay. Bordering the Pacific, the San Francisco bay area is home to the natural occurrence of fog in its full Glory. Simple sounds of piano jabs and bass line shuffles define this tune, keeping it light and welcoming.

Layered by Luisjo, these scratches ultimately create a cohesive trip hop texture.
